What to Expect

Procedure

Treatments are often as quick and relatively comfortable, typically using a topical numbing cream applied prior to treatment for approximately 20-30 minutes.

Recovery

• For the ProDeep® and GoSmooth® skin may have red like grids for 1-3 days over treated area.
• For the DualMode® resurfacing, skin is usually pink for 1–2 days, followed by potential of light flaking. Grid -like marks may last 1-5 days. Most patients return to normal activities within 3–5 days. Concealer maybe used to cover up the treatment zones the next day.

Results

• You may see glowing skin as soon as 5-7 days post treatment. Ask your Vitality Skin Bar Calgary aesthetician about expectations to your individualized treatment.
• Most dramatic results appear 3–6 months later as new collagen matures.

Post Treatment

• Keep area clean.
• Follow skin care protocols such as ointments and/or barrier cream recommendations
• Sunscreen is a must post laser treatments.
• Limited sun exposure before and after.
• Pigmentation reducing creams may be recommended to prevent adverse results.
